Sourced from the oldest, highest-quality vineyards on the Chalone Estate, the grapes in this Chardonnay are sourced from the estates vineyards planted in 1971, 1972 and 1973, with an additional portion coming from an outstanding 1985 planting. The age of the vines are what gives Chalone Estate Chardonnay its intense flavours, quality and ageing potential.

Tasting Notes:

Well balanced with bold notes of apricot, green apple and pear carrying through to the palate with hints of oak and vanilla.
