The new DryCare 40 extra makes it even easier to care for your laundry. You can load your clothes into the tumble dryer immediately after a 40 °C wash programme without having to sort through them first. This saves you both time and effort. The DryCare 40 extra can be added to various programmes and is suitable for fabrics that can be washed at 40 °C.

A fresh fragrance for your laundry

Miele fragrance flacons perfume your laundry with your favourite scent during drying. The fragrances are produced by a family-run company in the south of France that has been creating perfumes since 1871. A patented process ensures that the essential oils in the perfume are preserved. The result: fresh laundry with a natural fragrance that lasts for up to 4 weeks. Depending on the appliance model, you can use one or even two fragrances.

Effective and easy to clean

With Miele’s intelligent fluff filter, you are finally rid of inconvenient fluff. Furthermore, the fluff filter is also particularly convenient: when the “Clean out airways” reminder appears in the clear text display, the Miele fluff filter can be easily removed from the front. The smooth filter surface makes cleaning pleasantly easy. Fluff filter and laundry are always kept separate – for guaranteed fluff-free laundry.

Convenient water drainage & Optimum protection for your home

All Miele heat-pump dryers feature integrated condensed water drainage with a hose tidy. As a result, you can pump out condensate into a sink or a siphon and save yourself the trouble of emptying the condensate container. Being leak-proof is very important with regard to the quality of a tumble dryer. The less moist, warm air escaping from the appliance, the higher the condensation effect. High levels of moisture escaping into a closed room are also very unpleasant: condensation on walls can result in mould and damage the fabric of a building. Miele tumble dryers achieve optimum leak-proof values and consequently the highest condensation efficiency class.

Add large & small items even after programme start

Whether it's a pair of jeans, a blouse or just a sock: thanks to the AddLoad function, you can easily add any laundry items that you've forgotten – up until shortly before the end of the programme. Operation is easy: press the “Start / Add laundry” button to stop the programme.

The cleverly networked laundry care team

Maximum user convenience: thanks to the new Wash2Dry networking function, your washing machine sends its data to the tumble dryer after the wash cycle. The dryer then automatically selects the corresponding programme for your laundry. All you have to do is load the laundry from the washing machine into the dryer, switch it on, and select Wash2Dry. As a result, your textiles – whether it’s denim jeans or dress shirts – are always perfectly dried. In order to use this function, the appliances must be registered in the in-house WiFi network.

Gentle laundry care to perfection

With this system, your laundry dries perfectly – even if the water contains significant amounts of calcium. This is by no means the norm on machines without PerfectDry as the calcium content in the water influences residual moisture sensing – in turn impacting on drying results. PerfectDry takes the current calcium content of water into account and precisely adjusts the drying process, ensuring that the selected drying level is always achieved.

Effective against bacteria

Hygienic laundry care – also during drying. HygieneDry can be relied upon to remove 99.99 % of all bacteria from your laundry during drying. This is achieved thanks to especially long temperature holding times. The effectiveness of HygieneDry has been confirmed by the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. HygieneDry is suitable for fabrics with two dots on the wash-care label.

Economical, powerful and maintenance-free

The ProfiEco motor from Miele is a powerful inverter drive and is also extremely economical and quiet. As the motor is electronically controlled, it does not require carbon brushes, which means it has no wear. For many years of efficient and convenient laundry care.

Unique honeycomb structure for gentle fabric care

The unique honeycomb structure lifts the laundry higher in the rotating drum. Items hover for longer in the warm air stream which results in more uniform drying. Air pockets form in the individual hexagons and cushion the fall of laundry. This ensures that your laundry is treated much more gently and is less creased after drying making ironing easier. It also simplifies ironing considerably.

Looser laundry after drying

If you cannot remove your textiles immediately after the programme end, anti-crease action ensures that the laundry is loosened at regular intervals and does not crease.
