Forest Terrine is a French pate style product produced as a `loaf'. The ingredients are coarsely chopped which give it more of a textural `bite'. The terrine is covered in an edible fat which keeps it moist and can be eaten. The terrine is based on pork fat and poultry liver which are complemented by the addition of woodland mushrooms and rich Armagnac brandy from South West France.
Perfect served with granary bread or toast and accompanied by a mixed salad. The wonderful array of flavours can be enjoyed alongside many drinks such as Champagne, Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon but it also eats well with a darker lager or brown ale.
Storage: May be frozen carefully. Life after defrost will be that which was remaining at time of freezing.
